Daniel Martinez most recently led an award-winning marketing and communications team in El Paso, Texas. With more than ten years of experience ranging from developing public relations strategies to working for international news networks, Martinez is passionate about the world of communications.

 

Martinez graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in government. He is working on his Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University.

 

He returned to El Paso after working at CNN in both Atlanta and Washington D.C. While at CNN, he helped launch shows and also was part of the creative team behind CNN's 'Magic Wall' & Virtual Studio technology.

Previously, Martinez worked as an on-air personality for the highest-rated news channel in El Paso, KVIA ABC-7. In the same school district he is employed today, he worked as a video broadcast teacher and remains certified to teach Technology Applications in the State of Texas.

In 2010, he began his college career at El Paso Community College. There he was able to confirm that mass communications was truly something that captivated him.
