CNN
After only six months at CNN in Atlanta, I was promoted to CNN's Washington DC Bureau as a producer for the New Media team. My responsibilities ranged from researching, editing video, pulling visual elements, or creating graphics.
During CNN's Breaking News coverage following the Deputy Attorney General's announcement of twelve Russian military officers being indicted, our team was called to help explain what 'spear phishing' is. This was a short deadline piece. All layout and design in this segment was created by me.
This 60 second series was lead by one of our lead producers. However, I was responsible for all the editing (including the sound effects).
KVIA - ABC-7
While at KVIA, I served as the interim art director and art assistant. My duties ranged from producing open animations for special segments and speciality graphics for the station website, some of which are seen below.

During my first semester at New Mexico State University, it was apparent that the station's student-produced newscast could use a graphics refresh. After teaching myself Adobe After Effects and some Cinema 4D, I was able to produce a new graphics package for them to use.
